i found the loveliest of dresses in a vintage shop yesterday. but no one was looking at it, because it was full of stains. i took it home, spoke with it, gave it a long relaxing bath, but the stains were still there. so i though about covering them.

saturday has her tea with no sugar

today i had tea with saturday. but i forgot that she drinks her tea without sugar. how else can she take her of her unique waistline?

i made her a little surprise, but she almost ate it. she didn't see the pretzel wasn't made of dough (but from the lace of one of her old dresses. but shh, don't tell).

used to be a longer simple black dress. added the white tulipy fabric to make it bloom. as heavy as a wedding dress minus the wedding.

would definitely fit olive oyl if only she moved the dress line a tad over the knee. the beads and buttons are gifts from popeye. he doesn't know pearls don't look like that.

ce n'est pas la marseillaisse.

it's only lace over what's left of the bedsheet, sown to a blue vest like top that might as well have been worn by someone passing by the filming crew of "the streets of san francisco". and as that was back in the 70, the little buttons on the upper part are dedicated to every little moth that made a living honestly.

this was a little girl's dress. picture her getting lost in a crowded piazza with her tiny hand hanging on to her porcelain doll. scared of being alone. but thanks to the bright yellow stripes, her mother sees her shortly. like seing a little red red ladybug in the green green grass.
made it into a blouse for older girls who don't want to get lost.

this is the first chapter of our novel.

a blue top that had "made in germany" on its tag. probably worn by someone called hildegard when she used to go to school reunions, and dance with her sweetheart on patsy cline. added a nice flowery skirt that had small spots of wall paint spreaded on it. it makes you wonder how she coloured the walls like in the end. the organza on top is just a midsummer night's dream.
